The challenge
The NSW School Finder upgrade needed a clearer understanding of how other services support search, filtering and school selection.

The approach
I compared school finders in NSW, Victoria, Queensland, London and New York City. Tables and a user-flow infographic mapped entry points, filters and result information. I then explored a mobile concept in Figma.

The outcome
The research identified common patterns and information priorities. An initial mobile flow demonstrated how search, filtering and sorting could work together.
